Project Overview

In 2020, DeShazo Group joined the redevelopment team for John Webb Elementary in Arlington, Texas. The firm was tasked with creating a comprehensive traffic impact analysis and phased traffic management plans to support the reconstruction of the school. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, typical data collection methods were not viable; instead, DeShazo used 2019 traffic volumes scaled to represent pre-pandemic baseline conditions. The firm collaborated with the City of Arlington and Arlington ISD to evaluate circulation, safety, and LOS performance at nearby intersections.
